Teri's current novel will be titled Learn to Love Again. Here is a brief summary, as well as the cover design, which was done by Annje David-Walker from NaNoWriMo.org
Mel is a cowgirl whose father owns a ranch. She has an arranged marriage to Tony, whom she has never met, but he is the only child of her mother’s best friend. Before she goes to join him and get to know him before they wed, she falls in love with her best friend, Marty, who knows nothing about her already being betrothed. Just before she leaves, Marty proposes to her. She leaves without an answer for him and goes off to meet her actual fiancé. Not long after she arrives, Marty learns where she is and comes to visit. She tells him she is there for school; he believes her and visits once a month for a weekend, sometimes more. Thus the beginnings of their affair.
They are never found out, their affair going on for about a year. Things change one day when the paparazzi catches them, since they follow Mel because of her fiancé. This breaks Tony’s heart and Mel goes back home. Mel realizes how wrong she has been, because over the course of time she realizes that she really had fallen deeply in love with Tony. Mel then has a choice to make, succumb to her lustful passions for Marty or follow her heart and her head and go back to Tony.
